ITALIAN COSTUME DESIGNER BORN IN CANTU' (COMO, LOMBARDY).

Her interest for costume design comes from a life-long obsession with the mechanisms that make theatrical magic possible. Thanks to her mother - an amateur actress - she had the opportunity to approach the stage from an early age and immediately fell in love with the world behind the scenes. She started studying fashion and costume design in high school. These years have been very important for her education because that's how she started to know about the fabrics, the design and the history of the costume.

She attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan where she studied Stage and Costume Design. During this period she developed and improved her artistic skills working on many projects.  After graduating with full marks, she felt the need to deepen her knowledge in the tailoring field, so she attended the course for Historical and Theatrical Costume Design at the Academy of Teatro alla Scala di Milano.

Thanks to this experience she had the opportunity to work for the production of "The Magic Flute" with Anna Maria Heinrich as costume designer.

In the same year she was in Rome for a training internship at "Costumi d'Arte".

.Since 2016 she has worked as an assistant costume designer for several productions both in the theatrical / opera field and in fashion events.

In 2017 She worked as Assistant Costume Designer for Valeria Donata Bettella for "Madama Butterfly" directed by Nicola Berloffa (Macerata Opera Festival). Between 2018 and 2021, she worked for Erika Carretta at Teatro dei Filodrammatici (Milan), Teatro Brancaccio (Rome), Teatro Romano (Verona).

In 2021 she took part in the international production "La Fanciulla del West" at the Korea National Opera as assistant for Vera Pierantoni Giua.

Since 2020 she collaborated with Nicola Berloffa in many production such as "La Cenerentola" (Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti, Modena) and "Orfeo ed Euridice" (Teatro Lirico di Cagliari).

She currently works as a costume designer in the Young Artist Program of Teatro dell'Opera di Roma under the guidance of Anna Biagiotti, with which she collaborated on various productions, such as Turandot (Ai Weiwei) and  Boheme (Mario Martone).

She also assisted Carla Teti as costume designer of Bernstein’s “Mass”, performed for the first time in Italy at the Terme di Caracalla in a new production directed by Damiano Michieletto.

She designed the costumes for “Inconfessabile Verdi” (produced for XX and XXI Festival Verdi - VERDI OFF by Teatro dell'Opera di Roma & Fondazione Teatro Regio di Parma, with Opera Europa and OperaVision as media partners) for the World Opera Day 2021.
